My boo..
My boyfriend, who is just two weeks younger than me, came out to his family today. I’m so proud of him for his bravery and how he handled speaking to both of them.
He’s an only child and his family is extremely close, so he was terrified of disappointing them. His Mother and Father were extremely loving and understanding. I have not met them yet, but I am not surprised they reacted so well. Their son is an amazing guy, and I know he was raised well.
I hope I get to meet them someday. He did tell them about us, and they said I was “cute” haha! It’s been such an emotional day, and I didn’t even get to see him today. I’m sure I’ll cry when he comes over tomorrow. I’m such a sap.

Date #2 was tonight. He came over and we hung out for hours. Just laughed, talked, and watched FRIENDS. Sounds like a perfect night to me. :)
“The first time we met Aaliyah was at an awards show, and she was so nice to us, truly nice. We got her number then when we came to L.A her choreographer, Fatima, was doing our routine, Aaliyah came to our rehearsal. We were rehearsing for the video shoot for ‘Get On the Bus’ from the ‘Why Do Fools Fall In Love’ soundtrack. We were newcomers, and she was a big star. She had hits on the radio, but she was sitting on the floor rewinding the tape for us. It was so sweet of her to do. She even drove us around the city. We all went to the Beverly Center and she bought a parrot because she wanted to give it to one of her friends as a gift, and then we went to a video shoot for a song Timbaland was producing. Everytime I saw Aaliyah, she was happy and she had this presence that few people have. I feel really blessed that I met her. She was definitely an angel, and I know that god doesn’t let too many of his angels go. He let her stay with us for a little while, but he wanted her back.”

Relief.
The “date” went well! We stretched two drinks to three hours of good conversation, haha. We’re already making plans to hang out again! Glad that pressure is off my shoulders!! :)
